The coin shows Batman, also known as the Dark Knight or the Caped Crusader. His real identity is Bruce Wayne, a billionaire playboy and philanthropist who witnessed the murder of his parents as a child, leading him to vow to rid Gotham City of crime. With no superhuman abilities, Batman relies on his intellect, physical prowess, martial arts skills, detective abilities, and high-tech gadgets to fight crime. He is also known for his strong sense of justice and moral code, often operating outside the law to achieve his goals. On the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Barbados, along with the inscriptions: "BARBADOS" - the issuing country, "5 DOLLARS" - the face value, "2023" - the issuing year and "3 OZ" - the weight of the coin.
