The reverse of the medal shows the beautiful image of a dominant buffalo facing west. On top of the reverse, the inscriptions: "UNITEFD STATES OF AMERICA" – the issuing country, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" - Adopted in 1776, stands testament: from many states and diverse cultures, emerges one united nation, "IN GOD WE TRUST" - another significant motto associated with the USA, "$50" the face value and "1OZ. .9999 FINE GOLD" - the weight and purity of the Gold. The obverse represents the profile of native american man, and carries the inscription "2023" - the year of mintage.
