Description

The reverse of the coin translates in symbols the concept of Eid al-Fitr: a time of celebration, feasting, and giving thanks to Allah for the strength and self-discipline shown during the month of fasting. The central figure of the mosque is selectively gilded, surrounded by Arabic sacred words and prayers. On the obverse, the Coat of Arms of Djibouti, along with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DE DJIBOUTI" - the issuing country, "Ag999" - the fineness of the precious metal, "200 FRANCS" - the face value, "1 OZ" - the weight of the coin and "2024" - the year of issue.
