The reverse of the coin features a realistic sculpted image of sumerian god Lamassu currently on display at the Louvre museum, architectual elements and the writing system called cuneiform. All around the obverse of the coin there are 7 circles of inscriptions with ancient writing and alphabet representing one of each civilization, in the middle of the coin the Coat of Arms of Cameroun and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN" – the issuing country, "2023" - the years of issueand "2000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
