The reverse of the coin features a wonderful design in which Ares is depicted. As in classical Greek artwork, he is depicted as a mature, bearded fighter equipped for battle, or as a naked, beardless teenager holding a spear and wearing a helmet. On the shield, the red coloring recalls the cruelty of battle and the blood spilled. On the obverse, the theme of the Greek shield covered in blood is repeated, and the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Chad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" - the issuing country, "2024" - the year of issue, and "50000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value - are also visible.
