The reverse of the coin depicts a playful and humorous scene of prehistoric or caveman-like characters taking a selfie! What would the Neanderthals do if the happened to find a smartphone?! All around the reverse of the coin, the inscriptions: "KRUGERRAND" – the name of the coin, "2023" – the year of issue and "FYNSILWER 1 OZ FINE SILVER" – the weight of the coin and "R1" – the face value. The coin obverse features the traditional Krugerrand design, depicting the Effigy of Paul Kruger, third President of The South African Republic. All around, the inscription: "SUID AFRIKA - SOUTH AFRICA" – the issuing country. This coin is no longer legal tender, as it is altered version of an original "legal tender" coin, enhanced by a private Mint in Germany, which is not related in any way to South African Mint.
