The reverse of the Gold coins depicts the Eagle, elegant and proud, frontally and in profile. The refined color is given by the partial black and white Rhodium plating, to represent the typical plumage. On the back there is also the inscription "1g 999AU" - weight and purity of the Gold. On the obverse, identical for the two coins, the Coat of Arms of the Ivory Coast is shown, together with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DE COTE D'IVOIRE" - the issuing country, "100 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
