History of the War
Description
The reverse of the coin features a beautiful lightweight helmet worn in the 17th century, decorated with scenes of war and an abstract pattern. In the background, more scenes of war with men and horses fighting. All around the reverse, the inscriptions: "10000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value of the coin, "2 oz Ag.999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver and "17TH CENTURY". The obverse of the coin has an intricate design, with many symbols and details, with the Coat of Arms of Chad at its center.
