The reverse of the coin presents an image of a fierce dragon. The design also includes a dragon carved on a natural Jadestone and a Gold plated square. All around, the inscription: "YEAR OF THE DRAGON" and "2024" - the year of issue. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of Burundi and the inscriptions: "IBANKI YA REPUBLIKA Y' UBURUNDI" – the country of issue, "25 FRANCS" – the face value and "2 oz Ag 999" – the weight of the coin and the fineness of the Silver.
