CHANG ER AND THE JADE RABBIT 1 Oz Silver Coin 5000 Francs Chad 2023

The reverse of the coin features the Goddess of the Moon, Chang Er, showned with the Jade Rabbit. This coin was minted with a new minting technique called "Bi-Metal Max", applied to give this piece its remarkable weight. This is made possible by combining 4.5 Oz of Copper as a base with a top painting layer of 1 Oz of pure Silver, resulting in an incredible High Relief. The obverse presents a beautiful stylized image of the Goddess and two rabbits in a backround of typical Chinese elements. At the center of the obverse featuring the Coat of Arms du Tchad and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD"- the country of issue and "5000 FRANCS CFA" – the face value.
