The reverse of the coin features a lot of details about Aladdin's tale, represented in a spiral of draws related to the tale, in the center of this spiral a little version of Aladdin's lamp. The obverse represents the Palace of Aladdin with an engraving on the bottom with the inscriptions: "One Thousand & One Nights". On the obverse, the depiction of the Coat of Arms of Djibouti and the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DE DJIBOUTI" – the issue country, "50 FRANCS" – the face value, "2022" – the year of issue.
