The reverse of the coin depicts Quetzalcoatl, worshiped in Mesoamerican cultures as the god of wind, wisdom, and culture. He was also associated with creation and fertility and seen as a benevolent god who brought knowledge and civilization for defending humanity. On the obverse, a wonderful decoration in Aztec style, representing the Sun and in the middle, the Coat of Arms of Chad, along with the inscriptions: "REPUBLIQUE DU TCHAD" - the issuing country, "2024" - the year of issue, and "50000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.
