The reverse of the shaped coin shows a beautiful representation of the Xenopeltis unicolor, a species of snake commonly known as the Sunbeam Snake. It is a non-venomous snake, distinctively shiny and iridescent, reflecting light in a way that creates a rainbow-like effect. The snake is depicted in the act of strangling the geometric figure of the coin itself, giving the art product a very interesting special silhouette. On the obverse of the coin is the Public Seal of Niue and the inscriptions: "2 DOLLARS" - the face value, "1 OZ AG 999.9" - the weight and the fineness of Silver, "2023" - the year of issue and the serial number.
