The reverse of the coin features an extraordinary Memento Mori composition dominated by a large sculpted skull, rendered in impressive high relief. Within and around the skull, symbolic details unfold: an ornate hourglass representing the passage of time, a grim skeletal figure embodying death, blossoming flowers that evoke the fleeting beauty of life, and dark twisted branches with birds that create an atmosphere of mystery and reflection. The contrast between delicate and macabre elements gives the design remarkable depth and meaning. The obverse of the coin displays the coat of arms of Cameroon, framed by elegant ornamental motifs and crowned at the top, all enhanced by the antique finish.
