The reverse of the coin shows the Langenburg event. On the morning of September 1st, 1974, a farmer was swathing his fields, when he noticed five highly polished, steel-like objects at the edge of a slough, rotating rapidly and hovering just above the ground, where they left five different distinct circles. On the right side of the reverse, the inscription: "CANADA" – the issuing country. On the obverse of the coin, the Effigy of King Charles III and the inscriptions: "CHARLES III" – the name of the King, "20 DOLLARS" – the face value, "D·G·REX" – the Latin acronym for "by the grace of God, king", and "2024" – the year of issue.
