Pocahontas princess
Pocahontas is a title character in Disney's 33rd animated feature film Pocahontas, and its direct-to-video sequel Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World. The character and the events she goes through are very loosely based on the actual historical figure Pocahontas. Pocahontas, as the daughter of a Native American paramount chief of the Powhatan paramountcy, is the first American Disney Princess. Pocahontas is also the first Disney Princess to have two love interests, and the only one up until Disney's Frozen with Anna, Hans and Kristoff (although Anna has not been crowned yet). However, most media, including the Disney Princess franchise, keep John Smith and Pocahontas as a couple, completely ignoring John Rolfe's historical legitimacy as her spouse. This is generally because John Rolfe is exclusive to the direct-to-video sequel. She is voiced by and modeled after Native American actress Irene Bedard and her singing vocals were performed by Broadway singer Judy Kuhn in both films. Kuhn also reprises the role of Pocahontas in the Disney Princesses' single and music video, "If You Can Dream" and the original Disney Princess songs "These Moments We Share", "Silver and Gold" and "Christmas Is Coming!" Pocahontas is the seventh member of the Disney Princess line-up, and the franchise's first Indigenous American member.

The final Disney Princess coin release features an image of Pocahontas, the beautiful and spirited character of the Walt Disney Pictures’ animated feature film Pocahontas (1995), surrounded by her beautiful hair and is presented in delightful fairy-tale-themed book style packaging. On the right side of the coin, the inscriptions: “Disney” and “Pocahontas”. The coin's obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the face value: “Two Dollars”, the issue year: “2016” and the issue country: “Niue”.
