The reverse of the coin presents an exquisite ornamental design, that looks like many leaves placed togather to enhance the center of the coin, where the magnificent Amber insert is placed. The amber is accurately intaglioed to form the famous Eye of Providence, a pyramid with an eye in the middle. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the inscriptions: "NIUE ISLAND" – the issue country, "2017" – the year of issue, "1 DOLLAR" – the face value and "ELIZABETH II" – the name of the Queen.
