The reverse of this Silver medal depicts a world ruled by organised crime. At the centre, a globe represents global influence, surrounded by pistols, a katana, a rifle and a skull – universal symbols of power and death. It's a clear reminder of the brutality of a borderless criminal underworld. The obverse, designed by Adam Liška, DiS., celebrates the archetype of a Yakuza member: a proud, tattooed figure with a sharp gaze and a katana resting casually on his shoulder. The scene is framed by sakura flowers, blending into the tattoos that cover his body – a distinctive mark of Japanese clans. The flowers, hand-coloured, intensify the visual and symbolic contrast.
