Based on Comedian (2019), created by Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan, this coin revives a timeless debate:

In this numismatic tribute, on the reverse we see a hyper-realistic banana, crafted in relief and taped to a textured wall, admired by curious Proof Quality onlookers. At the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: "The Precious Fruit of Art" a fitting name for a coin that boldly breaks the mold.

The obverse of the coin continues this artistic dialogue with a bold abstract composition of fragmented letters and words on Proof Quality, worthy of a modern art gallery, revealing the name of the series: "Art is Art", along with the inscriptions: "2025" the year of issue, "2 Oz", ".999" the fineness and Niue the issuing country.
