Description

The reverse of the con features a beautiful portrait of Romy Schneider, the German actress who is best known for the title role in the trilogy "Sissi" in which she plays Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary. In commemoration of the 40th anniversary of Romy's death, artist Elles Kloosterman created this beautiful portrait of her in her most famous role. The reverse also incorporates the inscriptions: "ROMY SCHNEIDER". The obverse shows Castle Schönbrunn in Vienna, where Empress Elisabeth resided, and features the incription: "40 ANS 1982-2022" to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the actress' death.
