Description

The reverse of the coin bar presents a dramatic scene of two eagles perched among twisted branches, their bodies tense and alert, locked in a moment of primal awareness. The High Relief emphasizes the layered plumage, curved beaks, and powerful claws, while the Antique Finish enhances depth and contrast, evoking the rugged textures of the wild. The composition captures both confrontation and kinship, reflecting the dual nature of the eagle as hunter and guardian, solitude and family. The obverse features the Coat of Arms of Benin, finely engraved against a textured background. Surrounding it are the inscriptions: "RÉPUBLIQUE DU BÉNIN" - the issuing country, "2026" - the year of issue, and "1000 FRANCS CFA" - the face value.

How does the Loyalty Program work?
