Snowdrop
Galanthus Artjuschenkoae (Snowdrop) is a charming plant, small in stature (25-35 cm) with white or sometimes creamy flowers and light-green leaves, emerging through the snow and blooming in March. It is met only in two floristic regions of Armenia (in the South and North) in the oak-hombeam or beech forests and in the low and middle mountain zones (900-1200m).

On the reverse is a design featuring a pair of snowdrops. Inscribed around the coin is the botanical name of the snowdrop, “Galanthus Artjuschenkoae”, in both English and Armenian. On the obverse is a pattern design that will be similar for all Armenian coins in the "Beauty of Flowers" series, incorporating part of the reverse image in it's design. The denomination and country of issue are also found on this side.
