Tanacetum zangezuricum (Chamomile) is a perennial plant. It has a large footstock of 10-20 cm height with a basket on the top. Its lateral, one-rowed flowers are white while tubular, quadri-dentate flowers in the center are yellow. Tanacetum zangezuricum blooms in June-July, on rocky slopes and stony places 2500-3600 m above sea level. In Armenia it is met in Zangezur and Meghri regions.

On the reverse is a design featuring a Chamomile flower with leaves, partially coloured, "Tanacetum Zangezuricum" (in Latin and Armenian) and a hallmark "Ag 925". On the obverse is a pattern design that will be similar for all Armenian coins in the "Beauty of Flowers" series, incorporating part of the reverse image in it's design. The denomination and country of issue are also found on this side.
