Soft-walled tubes, usually in clusters joined at the base, in natural light, especially in deeper water, they appear to be yellow-green.

Description
On the reverse of the coin we find the image of the beautiful coral with his splendid, vivid, yellow color represented in detail by the enamelling technique. Around it, is represented in relief the seabed of the Caribbean sea, the habitat of coral. We find also the series name "Coral Protection", the scientific name of coral Aplysina Fistularis, more commonly known as Yellow Sponge Tube, below the year of issue. The obverse of the coin, in the central part, depicts the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II, the nominal value and the country where the coin was minted. The coin is enclosed in a box decorated with the color image of the coral.
