Description

Born 200 years ago in Hamburg, Germany, Felix Mendelssohn created such masterpieces as Fingal's Cave, the Scottish Symphony, the Italian Symphony and the Wedding March from the incidental music for A Midsummer Night's Dream before his career was cut tragically short at the age of just 38. His image on the coin's reverse is accompanied by a large treble clef, music notes and the inscription ‘Felix Mendelssohn 1809 – 1847'. The coin's reverse also incorporates The Perth Mint's historic ‘P' mintmark. Issued as legal tender under the authority of the Government of Tuvalu, the coin bears the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on its obverse.

Items on “pre-order” are coins that are not in stock at the moment of purchase. The estimated availability date is indicated on the product page and may change for reasons beyond our control. Payments of pre-orders are due at checkout to ensure the best price and a prompt shipment of the order as soon as the coin is in stock.

When ordering a pre-sale product, you commit together with Power Coin to the total order quantity placed with the producing Mint, therefore all canceled pre-sale orders will be charged with a 5% cancellation fee.

How does the Loyalty Program work?

For every order placed on our website, Power Coin rewards you with loyalty points up to a maximum of 1000 points per order. Loyalty points are valid on your account for six months since order date and can be converted into a voucher. The voucher generated is valid for seven days, hence make sure to convert your loyalty points when you are ready to place a new order. Expired points and/or vouchers cannot be reinstated.
